「EMI 教學助理培育及獎勵辦法」於113年4月9日行政會議通過，並於112-2學期開始正式實施，由雙語教育推動辦公室負責審理。
雙語辦公室為培育及提升 EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) 教學助理之職能與品質、落實 EMI 教學助理之功能,並從中遴選表現良好者,分成傑出及優良兩類給予獎勵金,特訂定此辦法。

• 擔任 EMI 課程教學助理者,須於該學期參加雙語辦公室所認列之 EMI 主題相關講座一場。
• 欲取得雙語辦公室認列之 EMI 教學助理認證者,需另參與雙語辦公室於學期間公告並認列之 EMI 教學助理培訓兩場。取得認證後即可參與 EMI 課程傑出及優良教學助理遴選。
• 112-2學期遴選申請日期為113年05月20日至113年05月30日止。申請時間延至113年06月07日止
• 請參閱下方附件中雙語辦公室認列之EMI主題相關講座及EMI教學助理培訓場次。

如何取得雙語辦公室EMI教學助理認證：

Step 1：將雙語辦公室所認列之三場EMI講座或EMI TA培訓場次之研習證明傳至bilingual@mail.ntust.edu.tw即可取得認證（參考"112-2 EMI TA 培訓講座場次認列表"）

申請傑出及優良教學助理方式：

Step 1：確認是否符合申請資格（須先取得雙語辦公室EMI教學助理認證）

Step 2：下載並填寫"EMI課程傑出及優良教學助理申請表"及"EMI 傑出及優良教學助理遴選推薦函"

Step 3：將電子檔傳至bilingual@mail.ntust.edu.tw或將紙本送至語言中心 IB207

The "EMI Teaching Assistant Cultivation and Incentive Regulations" were approved during the administrative meeting on April 9, 2024. It officially commenced implementation in the 112-2 semester and will be administered by the Office of Bilingual Education Initiatives.

The Office of Bilingual Education Initiatives has established this method to cultivate and enhance the competence and quality of EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) teaching assistants, to implement the functions of EMI teaching assistants, and to select those who perform well, dividing them into two categories: outstanding and excellent, and providing them with rewards.

• To serve as an EMI course teaching assistant, it is required to attend one EMI-themed lecture recognized by the Office of Bilingual Education Initiatives during the semester.
• For those seeking recognition as an EMI teaching assistant certified by the Office of Bilingual Education Initiatives, it is necessary to additionally participate in two EMI teaching assistant training sessions announced and recognized by the Office of Bilingual Education Initiatives during the semester. Upon obtaining certification, one can participate in the selection of outstanding and excellent EMI teaching assistants.
• The application period for the 112-2 semester selection is from May 20, 2024 to May 30, 2024. Deadline extended until June 7th, 2024
• Please refer to the attached document below for the list of EMI-related seminars and EMI Teaching Assistant training sessions recognized by the Office of Bilingual Education Initiatives.

How to obtain OBEI EMI teaching assistant certification:

Step 1: Send the attendance certificate for three EMI seminars or EMI TA training sessions recognized by the OBEI to bilingual@mail.ntust.edu.tw to obtain certification.

How to apply for outstanding and excellent teaching assistant awards:

Step 1: Confirm if you meet the eligibility criteria (must first obtain the OBEI EMI teaching assistant certification).

Step 2: Download and complete the "Application Form for Outstanding and Excellent Teaching Assistants" and the "Recommendation Letter for Nomination of Outstanding and Excellent EMI Teaching Assistants."

Step 3: Send the electronic files to bilingual@mail.ntust.edu.tw or submit the paper copies to the Language Center, IB207.
