為培養專業領域雙語專業人才，本校積極推動「全英語授課」，以英語為知識傳遞的媒介，教授各專業領域知識。本學期以EMI課程授課技巧為主軸，安排系列講座，藉此提升本校教師在專業領域全英語教學技巧。本場講座除了邀請講者分享自身EMI課程經驗外，將著重教師如何培訓教學助理來輔助教學，以及擔任EMI課程的TA應扮演何種角色，從講座中讓老師與TA獲得更多教學技巧，同時達到培訓老師及TA之效果，來確保學生的學習品質與成效。

1. 活動14:50分開始辦理報到，於16:20分停止簽到，未簽到者無法蓋築夢踏實之研習認證章，敬請準時出席。

2. 為配合本校防疫政策，會議室使用規定，進入會議室人員務必配戴口罩，並自主使用酒精噴液消毒手部。進入會議室時，並請間隔入座，額溫超過37.5度時禁止入場，並盡快就醫。

3. 本研習可提供本校教師及教學助理相關之研習時數，需全程參與講座，如需研習證明，請於簽到表中註明，將提供電子檔研習認證。

4. 本研習可提供築夢踏實之研習認證章，如需核章者請於活動結束後出示填完問卷畫面始得核章，依據築夢踏實助學金計畫規定(五、申請流程之第二步)，須當場蓋章，無法事後補蓋認證章。

5. EMI課程教學助理可參與教發中心於本學期辦理任2場EMI講座，等同完成教學助理培訓，若需教學助理研習證明，請來信通知承辦人說明參與2場次講座，經中心核對確認出席，提供教學助理研習認證。若想參加EMI課程的傑出及優良TA遴選，參選資格為擁有教學助理研習認證，並且需額外參加本學期教發中心所辦理的2場EMI講座。

6. 參與本講座之教師，可登記領取「大學全英語授課：900句課堂情境句型與應用」此書乙本，作者廖柏森教授，若已有領取之老師，將不重複領取。

7.本活動會後將提供餐盒，現場報名恕無法提供餐盒。

8. 本工作坊全程以英文進行。

二、 講座流程：

Seminar of EMI Courses and Workshop of EMI Teaching Assistant

National Taiwan University of Science and Technology Seminar of EMI Courses and Workshop of EMI Teaching Assistant For cultivating bilingual professional talents in various fields, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) has promoted “English as a Medium of Instruction” in many courses. In this semester, we will arrange a series of seminars on EMI teaching skills to enhance instructor’s teaching skills, and invite speakers to share their experiences in EMI courses. This seminar will focus on how teachers train TAs to assist teaching and what roles they play in the courses.

1. Registration will begin at 14:50 and stop at 16:20. (Note: No registration, no certification of Solid Dream Building Workshop.)

2. For campus epidemic prevention, all participants are required to wear a mask and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer. After you enter the room, please be seated immediately by alternate seating rule, but if your temperature is over 37.5 degree, please do not enter and seek medical help.

3. We will offer teachers and TAs an e-record only for those fully participated, but the request shall be notified during the registration.

4. We can only offer a participating record of Solid Dream Building Workshop soon after the seminar but only for those who shows a screen proof of completing the survey. (Note: The record application is not accepted afterwards according to the regulations of Solid Dream Building Scholarship Program.)

5. During the semester, EMI TAs can choose any two EMI seminars by Center for Teaching and Learning Development for training. For a record application, please email the contact person with a notice of two seminars you participated. The eligibility criteria for Excellent TA of EMI program, you are required to attend two additional EMI seminars by the Center with TA Training Certificate.

6. Prof. Posen Liao’s The Ultimate Guide to Teaching in English is open to apply for teachers who attend the seminar and have no record of application.

7.The seminar will offer lunch box only for online registration, and your preference shall be noted beforehand.

8.The seminar is in English.
