各位教職同仁大家好：

有關於遠距教學說明會，基於資安考量及政府規定，我們將取消Zoom作線上直播；取而代之，我們將使用Google Meet來進行，特此公告，詳細內容如下所示。

因應新型冠狀病毒疫情持續延燒，未來有更多課程需要遠距上課，教務處教學發展中心擬於4/10 (五)、4/17 (五)、4/24 (五) 舉辦三場遠距教學說明會，會議將由莊榮輝副校長(兼教務長)主持，活動將會說明本校目前現有的應變措施與相關遠距教學工具；例如：非同步遠距教學可使用EverCam錄影，然後將影片上傳至影音平台 (例如：YouTube等)；同步遠距教學可使用Cisco Webex、Google Meet與 Microsoft Teams等等，歡迎老師屆時可到說明會現場或是透過視訊會議線上參與。

三場說明會現場的時間、地點與說明如下：

參加對象：全校教師與職員
報名方式：無需報名，逕自前往即可。
防疫期間，會場備有壺裝水，請與會人員自備環保杯，並請自行攜帶口罩，做好自主健康管理。

Dear All:

Regarding the briefing sessions on distance education courses, due to concerns about information security and regulations by the government, we will cancel the use of Zoom for conducting the on-line broadcasting. Instead, we will adopt Google Meet as the broadcasting tool. The detailed information is listed below.

In response to the continuous spread of the coronavirus pandemic, there will be more courses in the future that need to be taught remotely. Center of Teaching and Learning Development will schedule three briefing sessions related to distance learning courses on 4/10 (Fri), 4/17 (Fri), 4/24 (Fri).

The briefing sessions will be chaired by Vice President Rong-Huay Juang (also Dean of Office of Academic Affairs) and the session will cover the current contingency measures and related remote teaching tools of the school. For asynchronous distance teaching, you can use EverCam to record, and then upload the video to the audio and video platform (such as YouTube, etc.); Cisco Webex, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams etc. can be used for simultaneous distance teaching. All teachers are welcome to attend the briefing session or participate online through video conferences.

The time, location and description of the three briefing sessions are shown in the table below:

Participants: all teachers and staff are welcome
Registration method: No registration is required
During the pandemic prevention period, pots of water are available at the venue. Participants are required to bring their own bottles and bring their own masks for self-management of health.

If the teacher decides to participate in the briefing session online, we will use Google Meet for on-line broadcasting.
