【轉知】加拿大Polytechnique Montréal 2027 Winter Research Internship Program資訊

Hello everybody,

Polytechnique Montréal pleased to officially launch their 2027 Winter Research Internship Program and look forward to welcoming our students to Polytechnique, one of Canada’s top three engineering institutions.

Program Highlights

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be officially nominated by your home university before applying to this program
  • Completed at least two years of an engineering undergraduate program or be registred in a graduate program (Master or Ph.D.)
  • Enrolled in a full-time program and will continue to be enrolled after your internship
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 out of 4 (or equivalent)
  • Meet the required skills for the selected research project(s)
  • Be highly proficient in English or French, with language skills sufficient to successfully conduct university-level engineering research and fully engage in the host lab environment
    • 89 research projects offered in 7 engineering fields.
    • 25 scholarships are available annually (maximum of 6,000 CAD for 4 months; 1,500 CAD/month).

Internship Duration, Start Dates, and Orientation

  • Four start‑date options are available between January and February 2027.
    • 2027-01-11 to 2027-05-06
    • 2027-01-25 to 2027-05-20
    • 2027-02-08 to 2027-06-03
    • 2027-02-22 to 2027-06-17
  • Maximum duration: four (4) months.
  • Internships kick off with a 1.5-day orientation: a welcome session on Day 1 and a campus tour on the morning of Day 2.

Nominations

  • Each institution may nominate up to 3 students for this edition of the program.
  • If you are interested in this program, please email Ms. Tzu-Yu Tsai (tzuyutsai@mail.ntust.edu.tw) at the Office of International Affairs, Taiwan Tech, to express your interest before July 31, 2026.

Application Process

  • Nominated students are strongly encouraged to complete and submit their application via online application platform as early as possible, and no later than August 25, 2026, at 23:59 (EST).

Housing Information

  • While students are responsible for securing their own accommodation in Montreal, they will receive support to assist with this process, including a Pre-departure Information Guide featuring trusted housing resources and practical advice, as well as a dedicated housing workshop during their orientation session.

Key Dates

  • Early September 2026: We will send results to the candidate directly, with you in copy of our email.
  • Kindly ensure that selected students clearly understand they must plan to arrive the weekend before the start of their internship. They should not arrive earlier, due to the 120-day work permit restriction.
