[Field Visit] Last day to register!!! Energym Field Trip (Chinese & English Groups)_May 19, 2026 (Tue)
Energym
Stable and safe electricity has long supplied Taiwan's beautiful island with a unique and vital energy. In 2020, Taipower established "Energym" beside Banqiao Station — Taiwan's first interactive exhibition hall centered on green energy. Energym is dedicated to offering diverse interactive experiences, allowing visitors to look back at the origins of energy and, through their own creativity, open a pathway to the pulse of future energy development.
The 1F POWERLAB serves as a co-creation platform where sustainability practitioners and energy experts host workshops with the public to explore sustainable development and energy science. On the 2F, "ENERGYM" combines energy conversion with physical exercise: visitors wear sensor wristbands and "generate electricity" through running, cycling, battle ropes, and other equipment, then "discharge" in an immersive theater where the light and imagery of five major green energy sources unfold visually.
Workshop
Green Workshop – Energy Poker: The card game "Energy Poker" simulates a smart grid mechanism, drawing players into a future setting through storytelling. People use big data to manage climate conditions and renewable energy output. Each player is not only an individual electricity user but can also interconnect with others or engage in power trading, forming a regional smart grid.
