臺科大致力於培養兼具軟硬實力的專業人才，提升人文素養與多語言能力。此次雙語競賽旨在改變大眾對科技大學的傳統印象，透過多樣化的活動場景，翻轉大眾對科技大學的傳統印象，促進本地學生與外籍學生之間的交流互動，營造多元且友善的校園氛圍，激發學生的學習動機，透過練習使用外語講述個人經歷，提升創造性思維、表達能力及自我認同，讓「說外語」不再只是學術要求，而成為一種有趣且個性化的體驗。

一、|競賽相關資訊|

參賽資格：

不限國籍，在臺灣在學之大學部或研究所學生。

競賽方式：

本次競賽將定調為學生校園生活，並分為以下兩大競賽部門：故事敘事（Performative Storytelling）和站立喜劇（Stand-up Comedy）。每個部門都有其獨特的競賽方式，學生可以依自身興趣擇一參加。

競賽時程：

（一）113年12月31日（星期二）預赛報名截止

（二）114年1月7日（星期二）預賽晉級通知

（三）114年3月22日（星期六）競賽決赛

Taiwan Tech is dedicated to cultivating professionals with both technical and soft skills, while enhancing their cultural literacy and multilingual capabilities. This bilingual competition aims to reshape the public’s traditional perception of technological universities. Through a variety of event settings, it encourages interaction between local and international students, fostering a diverse and welcoming campus environment. The competition seeks to inspire students’ motivation to learn, promoting creative thinking, self-expression, and self-identity by encouraging them to share personal experiences in a foreign language. Speaking a foreign language thus becomes not just an academic requirement, but an enjoyable and personalized experience.

1. Competition Information

Eligibility:

Open to all undergraduate and graduate students currently studying in Taiwan, regardless of nationality.

Competition Format:

The theme of the competition is focused on student campus life, divided into two main categories: Performative Storytelling and Stand-up Comedy. Each category has its own unique format, and students may choose one category to participate in based on their interests.

Competition Schedule:

(1) December 31, 2024 (Tuesday) - Preliminary registration deadline

(2) January 7, 2025 (Tuesday) - Notification of preliminary round results

(3) March 22, 2025 (Saturday) - Final competition
