近期垃圾場發生二次垃圾起火燃燒事件，起因均為充電電池受到擠壓而起火，敬請各位師生務必做好垃圾分類，電池等回收物勿丟棄至一般垃圾袋，以免釀成災害。

        另外，公共垃圾桶僅供上課同學丟棄隨身垃圾，租屋及家庭垃圾、各辦公室、研究室等處所之垃圾及回收物，請自行拿到垃圾場，或交給巡迴垃圾車；大型廢棄物請向事務組填表申請，請勿堆置公共空間。實驗室所產生之有毒廢棄物，請洽詢環安室。

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

Recently, two fire incidents occurred at the recycling field , both caused by the compression of rechargeable batteries. We urge everyone to diligently sort their waste and refrain from discarding batteries and other recyclables in general trash bags to prevent potential hazards.

Public trash bins are intended solely for the disposal of personal waste by students attending classes. Household waste, office and research lab waste, as well as recyclables, should be taken directly to the designated disposal site or handed to the garbage truck. For the disposal of large items, please submit an application form to the Office of General Affairs and avoid leaving such items in public spaces. Toxic waste generated in laboratories should be managed in consultation with the Office of Environment and Safety.
