Taipei's South Side area is rich with cultural and artistic venues, and hidden gems can be found throughout its streets and alleys. Since 2018, the General Association of Chinese Culture (GACC)  has hosted the South Taipei Fun Carnival, bringing together  public and private organizations, local businesses, and community residents. 
Over the past seven years, more than 500,000 people have participated, and the event has been honored with the Golden Pin Design Award in the Integration Design category. This lecture will explore how the GACC has woven together the beautiful gems of the South Side, making the South Taipei Fun Carnival a highly anticipated annual spring festival in Taipei.
