Motorcycle “All-Area” Parking Application Registration for the First Semester of the 2024–2025 Academic Year
Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,
To effectively manage the number of indoor motorcycle parking spaces on campus and to address previous concerns from students who, despite paying for all-area parking, frequently found indoor parking unavailable, the University will implement a “total quantity control” system for all-area parking this semester. This measure is intended to protect users’ parking rights and maintain parking quality.
After confirmation by the contracted external vendor, open slots are still available for all-area motorcycle parking for the first semester of the 2024–2025 academic year. The eligibility, application process, and fee details are as follows:
- Parking Period: The parking period for this application is from July 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025.
- Application Method: Applications must be submitted online. If the number of registrations exceeds the available spots, a lottery system will be used.
- Registration Period: Registration is open from the date of this announcement until September 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM.
- Available Spots: A total of 255 all-area spots are available; there is no limit for outdoor parking.
- Application Process: Please register online by visiting https://forms.gle/KwZ9cgbgB2RTDETQ9 or by scanning the QR code below. (Ensure that the correct personal information is provided during online registration. Any errors in the information that affect the lottery results will be the responsibility of the applicant.)
If the number of applicants does not exceed the available spots, all applicants will be granted parking permits directly. Otherwise, a random lottery (electronic lottery) will be conducted:
- Lottery Time: The lottery will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
- Lottery Location: The lottery will be conducted publicly in the Office of General Affairs, under the supervision of relevant supervisors.
- Lottery Results: The results will be posted after the lottery in the Office of General Affairs and the management office on the first floor of the Yan Yang Building parking lot.
- Notification of Successful Applicants: Successful applicants will be notified via email by September 16, 2024 (please ensure that your information is complete and accurate).
- Contract Signing and Payment Process: Successful applicants must sign the contract and pay the fee in cash for the semester by 4:00 PM on September 24, 2024. Please bring the relevant documents (student ID, motorcycle driver’s license, and registration certificate) to the management office on the first floor of the Yan Yang Building parking lot. Failure to complete the contract signing and payment by the deadline will be considered a forfeiture.
- Procedure for Unsuccessful Applicants: A waiting list will be created during the lottery. Those on the waiting list may apply for outdoor parking first. If any indoor spots become available due to forfeiture after the payment deadline, the applicants on the waiting list will be notified to complete the process (with the payment of the difference).

8. Important Notes:
(1) All vehicles must enter the parking lot in order and park in the designated spaces. Parking spots are not reserved, and fixed parking spaces are not allowed. If the parking lot is full, you must wait in line to enter or proceed to another parking lot.
(2) All-area users may park in the following areas: Yan Yang Building B1 (indoor), Student Dormitory 1 B1 (indoor), beside Sailboat Building (outdoor), and behind the Library (outdoor). If any of these parking lots are full, please proceed to another location.
(3) The right to a monthly rental parking space is limited to the applicant’s registered information and cannot be transferred to a third party. If an unauthorized transfer is confirmed, the monthly rental permit will be revoked.
(4) After completing the payment, approximately 2–3 business days (excluding holidays) are needed to set up license plate recognition. During this period, please press the intercom service button at the entrance and inform the staff that you have signed the contract and paid the fee. The on-site staff will assist in opening the barrier.
(5) Other relevant regulations will be handled according to the University’s parking management rules and the directives for outsourcing parking lot operations and management.
