環保署提倡「如廁衛生紙丟馬桶」觀念已久，希望能改變如廁文化、降低傳染媒介造成感染之風險。
但台灣仍有一定比例的人認為可能造成堵塞，故習慣將衛生紙丟入垃圾筒中。
以下為各位解惑：
本校硬體設備已逐步改善且符合規範，衛生紙亦提供易分解(短纖)材質，在合理使用範圍皆不至於造成堵塞。

環保署強調，正常如廁使用衛生紙用量，佔糞便之重量比約為5%，所佔比例不高，丟入衛生紙沖掉，亦不致造成馬桶及排水管路阻塞或影響污水下水道系統。
