The application information for the 2024 CTCI Foundation Science and Technology Scholarships is now available. Attached is the guideline and the application for this scholarship, please read the following guideline thoroughly if you wish to apply for it.

Students who are receiving NTUST Scholarship or any other scholarships ( such as those awarded by the Taiwan Government, other government agencies, or other organizations) are eligible to apply!

Scholarships Quota and Amount

1. The Research Scholarship for Overseas Students: The total number of recipients is 15-30. Each recipient will be awarded NTD 150,000 and a Certificate of Merit.
2. The Bursary Award for Overseas Students: The total number of recipients is 5-15. Each recipient will be awarded NTD 100,000.

Eligibilities

1. Master’s and doctoral students who are currently enrolled at Taiwan Tech in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, Graduate Institute of Automation and Control, Department of Chemical Engineering, Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology.
2. Research Scholarship for International Graduate Students:

1. Each semester’s average academic score since matriculation to the research institute needs to be above 80 points; if the university uses grades instead of points, applicants need to submit the score and grade comparison table of the university for evaluation.
2. Each department or institute is entitled to recommend one candidate.

3. Bursary Award for Overseas Students:

1. Each semester’s average academic score since matriculation to the research institute needs to be above 75 points; if the university uses grades instead of points, applicants need to submit the score and grade comparison table of the university for evaluation.
2. Each department or institute is entitled to recommend one candidate.

Attached is the guideline for this scholarship. Please read the guideline thoroughly and follow the application process:

1. Online registration (Starts from July 1, 2024): Please complete the online registration and upload the required documents (link)
2. Hardcopy of the required documents: Download all the application and required documents from the online system and submit it to your department office. For the submission period please refers to your department's website.  
3. Your application documents will be evaluated by your department. Each department can only recommend one candidate for each scholarship.
4. DO NOT submit your hardcopy documents to the CTCI Foundation directly!
