【教師EMI諮詢服務】113年1月份場次已開放報名,敬邀各位老師踴躍報名參加。

 

【活動說明】

為提升教師EMI教學知能與技巧,使課堂教學更加順利,國立臺灣科技大學教發中心與Fulbright Taiwan學術交流基金會EMI顧問團隊合作,本學期將於每月提供校內教師EMI教學諮詢及討論服務,針對教師個人EMI授課上的需求及困難給予協助,本服務以精進EMI教學為目的,提供教學回饋,歡迎各位教師踴躍報名參與。

【預約資訊】

一、時間:113年1月份場次已開放預約,敬請參考報名連結內場次表:https://pse.is/5h3zea。

二、建議諮詢討論方向:

    1. 如何開始嘗試,有哪些訣竅。

    2. 如何改變與學生的互動方式 (鼓勵學生學習動機,參與度及開口的機會)。

    3. 課程設計如何差異化教學,或簡化英語表達,讓學生較容易理解。

    4. 課堂中使用中文的時機和比例。

三、預約須知:

   1. 為能有效提供諮詢服務,給予適切的教學回饋,請您於報名同時,務必選擇您同意提供哪一種教學資源以供諮詢顧問參考:(1).進班觀課、(2).提供教學大綱或課程教案、(3).提供教學影片。

   2. 方式為一對一諮詢, 每人每日限預約一次,一次諮詢時間為50分鐘。

   3. 如有兩位以上教師選擇同一諮詢時間,將以提交報名表順序進行安排。

   4. 報名成功者將收到email通知。

   5. 請於諮詢完成後一周內,將「諮詢紀錄表」填寫完畢,並寄至教發中心負責人陳小姐之信箱,謝謝。

    (諮詢場次有限,建議您先進行一次諮詢後,再行預約下一次諮詢。)

    (諮詢剛開始會有工作人員簡短拍攝,供內部紀錄使用。)

One-on-one Teacher Consultation Service


To enhance teachers
’ EMI professional knowledge and practical implementation, the Center for Teaching and Learning Development at NTUST, in collaboration with the Fulbright EMI Supporting Team provide will offer monthly appointment-based consultations to all NTUST professors and faculty seeking advice on EMI. The main purpose is to provide customized assistance tailored to address the individual EMI teaching needs and challenges faced by teachers. Welcome all teachers to sign up and participate.

  1. Suggested Consultation Topics:

1. How to get started and what tips are available for beginners.

2. Strategies to enhance student motivation, engagement, and opportunities for speaking English in the classroom.

3. Approaches to differentiate or simplify language to ensure students’ comprehension.

4. When and what extent to incorporate Chinese (considering the appropriate timing and usage proportions) in the teaching process.

  1. Appointment Instructions:
  1. In order to provide effective consultation services and offer appropriate instructional feedback, please make sure to indicate your willingness to provide one of the following teaching resources for the consultant's reference when making an appointment: (1). Class observation, (2). Providing a teaching syllabus or course lesson plan, and (3). Sharing classroom recording videos.
  2. The consultation is conducted one-on-one, and each person is limited to one appointment per day, with each consultation lasting for 50 minutes.
  3. If two or more teachers choose the same consultation time, appointments will be arranged based on the order of form submissions.
  4. Successful registrants will receive an email notification.
  5. Please complete the 'Consultation Record Form' within one week after the consultation and email it to Ms. Chen, at the Center for Teaching and Learning Development. Thank you.

(Consultation sessions are limited, and we recommend that you schedule the next consultation after completing the initial session.) (There will be photo taking at the beginning of the consultation for internal documentation purposes.)
