為培養專業領域雙語專業人才，本校積極推動「全英語授課」，以英語為知識傳遞的媒介，教授各專業領域知識。因此安排EMI課程系列講座，藉此提升本校教師在專業領域全英語教學技巧。本場講座邀請講者分享過去在學生時期擔任全英語授課TA之經驗，讓TA了解如何來協助老師授課，以及需扮演何種角色，同時分享教師可如何培訓TA來輔助教學，藉此確保學生的學習品質與成效。

一、講座資訊：

1. 活動14:00分開始辦理線上報到，於15:10分停止簽到，敬請準時出席。
2. 如需研習證明，需全程參與(至少1小時)，並在講座結束後填寫問卷，才可提供電子檔研習認證。
3. EMI課程教學助理可參與教發中心於本學期辦理任2場EMI講座，等同完成教學助理培訓，若需教學助理研習證明，請來信通知承辦人說明參與2場次講座，經中心核對確認出席，提供教學助理研習認證。若想參加EMI課程的傑出及優良TA遴選，參選資格為擁有教學助理研習認證，並且需額外參加本學期教發中心所辦理的2場EMI講座。
4. 本校教師參加本次EMI講座，可符合110年10月26日行政會議通過「國立臺灣科技大學全英語授課課程獎勵辦法」第四條之外加獎勵點數。所述項目需在當學期(110-2學期)完成參與方可列計。
5. 參與本講座之教師，可登記領取「大學全英語授課：900句課堂情境句型與應用」此書乙本，作者廖柏森教授，並至「國際大樓IB-12樓R01教務處計畫辦公室」領取，若已有領取之老師，將不重複領取。
6. 備註：本工作坊以英文為主，中文為輔進行。

EMI Course Series Lectures I and Workshop of EMI Teaching Assistant

For cultivating bilingual professional talents in various fields, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) has promoted “English as a Medium of Instruction” in many courses. Therefore, we arrange a series of seminars on EMI teaching skills to enhance instructor’s teaching skills. In this seminar, the speaker will share his experience of being EMI courses’ TA to help TAs understand how to assist instructors, and what role do they play in class. In addition, to ensure students’ learning quality and effectiveness, the speaker will also share how instructors can train their TAs to assist them during classes.

1. Online registration will begin at 14:00 and will end at 15:10. Please attend on time.
2. This seminar can provide relevant study hours for our teachers and teaching assistants on the condition that you have to participate for at least an hour and finish the questionnaire after the seminar.
3. During the semester, EMI TAs can choose any two EMI seminars by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development for training. For a record application, please email the contact person with a notice of two seminars you participated in. The eligibility criteria for Excellent TA of EMI program, you are required to attend two additional EMI seminars by the Center with TA Training Certificate.
4. Teachers of our school who participate in this EMI lecture can meet the requirements of Article 4 of the “National Taiwan University of Science and Technology's EMI Course Incentive Program” approved by the Executive Council on October 26 (110), plus reward points. The above-mentioned program counts only if the participant completes in the current semester (110-2 semester).
5. At Room R01, 12th floor of the International Building, teachers who participate in this lecture can register to receive the book, “The Ultimate Guide to Teaching in English,” authored by Prof. Posen Liao. If you have already received the book, you are not allowed to receive it again.
6. Remarks: The lecture will be mainly conducted in English, with Chinese as a supplement.
