【劇情介紹】
  一名由母親瑞秋帶去巴爾得摩探親的阿米許人小男孩山姆，因為經過火車站廁所時目賭一起凶殺案而成為証人。賓州警探約翰布格帶著山姆四處指認凶手，卻意外地發現凶手竟是毒品組組長費特里，並且懷疑費特里是販賣由警局所沒收的巨量毒品，而在調查當中竟發現局長席佛也牽涉其中，後來約翰因受傷而被瑞秋帶至阿米許人的農莊避難治療，約翰傷勢痊癒後，融入阿米許人的純樸生活，參加阿米許人的活動，與瑞秋日久生情並彼此有好感。席佛局長為了怕販毒事件東窗事發，於是積極查訪約翰行蹤，並率領費特里及警探費基前往農莊滅口，在一番激烈衝突後，席佛難逃法網束手就擒，約翰也離開了農莊而回到工作崗位。(摘自開眼電影網)
