The Office of Bilingual Education Initiatives and the EMI Teaching and Learning Center have officially opened applications for the "2027 Taiwan Tech × UC Irvine EMI & ESP Overseas Professional Development Program". Join us at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine), ranked among the top 10 public universities in the U.S., to explore new teaching inspirations in a beautiful Southern California setting.

Program Highlights

• Dual-Track EMI & ESP Training: Integrates EMI and ESP methodologies to help you master course design and teaching objectives, allowing for flexible application to simultaneously enhance professional content delivery and English instruction effectiveness.
• 7-8 Interdisciplinary Teaching Observations: Covers fields such as engineering, sciences, business, and humanities, helping you draw inspiration from cross-disciplinary teaching practices and course designs.
• 5 Thematic Lectures and Workshops: Deepens your understanding of relevant teaching methods through discussion, hands-on practice, and peer exchange, transforming learned concepts into classroom applications to elevate student learning outcomes and experiences.
• Fully Funded: Selected applicants receive full coverage for tuition, round-trip economy flights, and a per diem allowance (including accommodation), letting you focus entirely on your professional growth.
