Vehicle Traffic Control Due to Pavement Repair Work at Main Gate (March 18–20)

Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,

Due to long-term heavy vehicle traffic, including large freight and tour buses, the pavement surrounding the main entrance driveway has become severely sunken and damaged. To improve safety and road conditions around campus, repair work will be conducted from March 18 (Tuesday) to March 20 (Thursday).

During this period, the main gate will be closed to all vehicle traffic at all times. Only vehicles with prior access authorization will be allowed to use the T3 back gate for entry and exit. Vehicles without prior approval will not be permitted on campus.

For guests invited by various departments, please utilize the parking vouchers distributed for this semester and direct guests to park at the International Building underground parking lot.

Please note that campus parking is limited, and the number of temporary parking spaces is controlled daily. Before 4:00 PM on workdays, only the International Building parking lot is available for temporary parking, and spaces cannot be reserved. If the entrance display indicates "full," guests will need to find parking at nearby public lots. We appreciate your cooperation in preventing misunderstandings regarding campus parking policies.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this improvement project. For the safety of everyone:

  • Vehicles must slow down and adhere to the campus speed limit of 10 km/h.
  • Pedestrians and cyclists should avoid construction areas to prevent accidents.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work towards building a better campus environment.
