Shuttle Bus Service for Hwa Hsia Campus from October 15, 2024, to December 20, 2024

 Dear faculty, staff, and students,

This semester, Taiwan Tech has arranged for the rental of a 21-seat mid-sized shuttle bus to provide transportation between the main campus and Hwa Hsia Campus as well as for official business use. The effectiveness of this trial service will be assessed, and the results will serve as a reference for scheduling shuttle services (either mid-sized or large buses) in the upcoming semester. The shuttle bus is rented for 9 hours per day, which includes the mandatory rest time for the driver as required by the Labor Standards Act. It will operate from Monday to Friday on school days. The service will not be available on weekends or public holidays. The first bus departs from the main campus at 08:20, and the last bus departs from Hwa Hsia Campus at 16:40. The shuttle service is scheduled to run from October 15, 2024, to December 20, 2024. The timetable is as follows:

Shuttle Bus Boarding Guidelines:

  1. Passengers are required to present their student or staff ID cards for verification by the driver when boarding. The shuttle will depart according to the scheduled timetable, and late arrivals will not be accommodated.
  2. Shuttle bus passengers will be seated according to the seating arrangement, as standing is not permitted under public transportation regulations. Each shuttle bus can accommodate a maximum of 20 seated passengers. Please queue early to ensure you secure a seat and avoid missing the shuttle.
  3. Shuttle bus pick-up and drop-off locations are indicated in the attached map. The boarding point at the main campus is located in front of the library, and at Hwa Hsia Campus, it is in front of Zhongzheng Hall.
