Our partner in Germany, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA), will hold a virtual COIL Networking event on July 5th. The main purpose of this event is to facilitate communication among educators, establish global connections, and inspire innovative teaching collaborations. The primary goal of this event is to facilitate networking opportunities for professors, fostering global connections and igniting innovative teaching partnerships. We aim to bring together like-minded educators who are passionate about creating transformative learning experiences for students. During the event, you will have the chance to meet professors from diverse disciplines, cultures, and backgrounds.
Some COIL courses that will be looking for partners at the event this year:
1) Business English C1 Course International Collaborative Simulation Project
2) Global Perspectives on Aeronautical Engineering
3) Application-Oriented Joint Seminar on Magnetic Sensors
4) Borderless Filmmaking - Collaborate on an international video production reflecting thoughts and ideas about socially relevant topics.
5) Information and Content Management in International Contexts
Engage in lively conversations, share your teaching philosophies, and explore potential collaborations. Together, we'll aim to find suitable partner professors for tandem-teaching a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) course in the future.
