International Day of Clean Energy We are pleased to announce that we are hosting an online event to mark #InternationalDayofCleanEnergy 2024. In August 2023 the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution proclaiming the 26 January as the International Day of Clean Energy, the anniversary day of the founding of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in 2009. As SDG 7 ‘Affordable and Clean Energy’ is one of the focal areas for this year’s WTUN activities we see this as an opportunity to share and highlight some of the vital work undertaken by WTUN members and hopefully inspire and create opportunity for scientific collaboration and partnership. Speakers from across the WTUN's network will deliver a session on topics related to #CleanEnergy. Watch this space for speaker announcements. |
