University education worldwide is currently undergoing a transformation. That's because University Social Responsibility (USR) programs are encouraging students to step away from their campuses and into neighboring communities, creating local connections and uncovering real-world problems and solutions.
As the world's universities have shifted attention to SDGs in recent years, sustainability has become a critical focus. A sustainability push is sweeping over universities all over the globe, because since the UN set forth 17 sustainable development goals in late 2015, virtually all the world's universities have begun making them part of their institutions' central mission.
This Forum will survey USR's core value to education of the future, facilitating the exchange of different perspectives and practical experiences spanning international influence, the power of talent, local resources, and developmental capabilities.
